This is a well establish product and thought to be one of the best treatments for crow’s feet near the eyes, forehead and frown lines. The procedure involves the use of a very small needle to inject the product into various facial muscles at several different target areas to get the best results. Although this treatment can be effective for fine lines there are some information to consider.
For heavy lines repeated treatments are more than likely required although this will be a fine balance tailored to your needs. Therefore, the detailed assessment and facial treatment plan is crucial to reduce the risk of tolerance, treatment resistance and exaggerated facial asymmetry.
These treatments will not improve lines caused by sun damage or sagging.

About the product
This popular non-surgical treatment is a neurotoxin protein from a bacteria of clostridium botulinum. Once injected binds to the nerves preventing and blocking neuron electrical transmissions of the acetylcholine. These transmissions are responsible for muscle contractions for the frown lines, forehead and crow’s feet. The botulinum toxin A causes a temporary paralysis of the muscle and as the muscle relaxes fine lines improve until the transmitter recovers in approximately 8-12 weeks.
Botulinum toxin is a private prescription only medicine. If you are committed to the treatment once you understand all the information including possible risks and give consent, we ask for a £50 deposit which is non-refundable.
